Developing the WHOLE child is our goal here at Mt. Calvary Preschool and Infant Center. To reach this standard, we foster growth through social and emotional development, cognitive development, creative development, physical development, and spiritual growth and development

Our well-trained teachers will facilitate your child’s growth through age-appropriate enrichment activities including religion, language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, fine arts, physical education, music, and self-developing centers. All while keeping Christ at the core of our day. In addition to our fun-filled curriculum, our preschool offers various extracurricular classes including dance class, piano class, and sports class.

Our center is well equipped with the necessary tools and space that deem a preschool successful: a newly renovated infant center including a separate play yard, three spacious classrooms for ages 2-5, a daily sanitized restroom, large playground with latching gates and a large shade awning.

At the center of a successful program lies nurturing, dedicated, hardworking teachers. Our teachers are well equipped with the knowledge, patience, and reliability that is required of a qualified preschool teacher. With the required education, certifications, and CPR/First Aid training, parents can rest assured that their precious little ones are in great hands.

Our Purpose

Mt. Calvary Lutheran Preschool & Infant Center provides an experience-rich environment where young children can grow and flourish. The children in our preschool program will be provided the opportunity to learn about Jesus and His redemptive work on the cross, and to learn about themselves and others in an atmosphere of Christian love and acceptance.

Our Philosophy

Mt. Calvary Lutheran Preschool & Infant Center exists as a ministry of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. Therefore, our learning activities and the way we work with your children are based on the saving love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Your child is a precious creation of God. We are here to support your family as we nurture, love, teach, and care for your unique child.

A child’s “play” is how a young child learns. A child learns by touching and doing and being involved.

INFANT PROGRAM

Mt. Calvary Lutheran Infant Center is accredited by the National Lutheran Schools Association (NLSA) and serves families with children ages 6 weeks to 2 years of age. All of our highly qualified teaching staff are trained in early childhood education and meet all state requirements to teach and care for infants. Most importantly, all are Christian teachers who have a passionate love for your children!

Spiritual growth is developed in all children through activities involving Bible stories and songs, understanding the importance of Jesus’ love, attending weekly Children’s Chapel, and instilling the importance of treating others in a Christian way at all times

PRESCHOOL PROGRAM

Our developmentally appropriate programs provide opportunities for children to broaden and deepen their knowledge by providing a variety of media and experiences such as drawing, painting, construction of models, dramatic play, story time, music, movement, science, cooking and writing. Our nurturing environment is designed to encourage a balance of child initiated and teacher supported exploration activities. We encourage the “total growth” of the whole child in the following areas:
