Our Philosophy
At Rainbow Kids Academy, we believe that children learn and develop best in a secure, loving environment and believe that a high quality early childhood program provides a safe and nurturing environment, which promotes the physical, emotional cognitive and creative development of the children.
In order to achieve our goal, we provide a creative, fun atmosphere with an appropriate, enriched curriculum and daily well-planned creative activities. It will help children to develop new skills, and to have fun. Our accredited teachers will provide a caring stimulating but relaxed environment with lots of opportunities to learn by to encourage children’s curiosity and loving of learning. Our emphasis is on games and activities that promote language development learning games and arts and crafts.
Also, we offer a clean, child-safe environment that is designed to promote the child’s comfort, safety, health, and well-being such as a huge playroom that is well-equipped with toys, a variety of children’s books, and arts and craft supplies along with bright spacious classrooms that have half size doors making it possible for our team to supervise the children’s safety at all times. In addition, we also recently installed a new playground that has a new rubber mat surfacing as well as several new varieties of playground equipment.
We believe all children deserve a friendly, supportive, and safe environment where they feel respected and valued as unique individuals. All staff at Apple Tree Preschool will make our every effort to create and maintain this environment for our loving children.
Our Enrollment Policy
Our enrollment is offered to children from 2 to 6 years of age. There is no discrimination on the basis of race, sex, national origin or religion. Enrollment is subject to availability of space and a medical examination form completed by each child’s physician and satisfactory to the preschool. For admission, a proof of immunization: 3 polio, 4 DTP, and the MMR, as well as a TB skin test should be submitted.
Our Programs
Our Curriculum
Our program provides a climate for physical growth and intellectual stimulation. We will use the exciting new version of the proven curriculum to develop each child’s language arts, math, and reading skills.
Our students have the chance to explore a wide variety of activities through our extended programs to fit what each student wants to know and wants to learn, such as music programs, group activities, field trips, art projects, science, reading, and social studies studies, and multicultural education, and much more – each program consisting of an educational emphasis.
Overview of the program included in our curriculum is as follows
- Reading: Becoming familiar with books and print. earning the ABC’s, writing his/her name, developing good listening habits, and classifying object and pictures as a part of child’s preparation for reading
- Mathematics: Matching, comparing orders, grouping, counting, recognizing and writing numbers, weights, and shapes. All previously stated will be covered in our pre-mathematics program as some of our math concepts.
- Art: Craft work, painting, hand-prints, making collages and storybooks, learning and singing educational songs, etc.
- Physical Development: Offering a variety of games, relays, and body movement activities to music.
- Social Studies: Sharing, playing together, helping one another, working together, learning etiquette and learning to accept each other’s differences. All of these stated will be emphasied as some of the aspect of our program
