Buzz Away can be applied directly to the skin or to clothing. For best results, be sure to apply generously and repeat application as often as needed. Buzz Away has been proven to provide 2 hours of protection, but in hot, sweaty weather more frequent application may be desirable.
Does Buzz Away work as well as chemical repellents?
In a study at the University of Guelph, Buzz Away proved equally effective with DEET-based Off! And Skintastic. You have to apply Buzz Away more often than a DEET based repellent.
