Anonymous "Useful for menopause. "I am at high risk for osteoperosis, so when my estrogen levels crashed I was very concerned about taking care of my bones and did a lot of research. I didn't really want to go on ERT so I felt that the phyto-estrogens from soy beans might offer a good option. I picked this supplement because it combined the isoflavins I was looking for with a range of other vitamins and minerals associated with bone health. What I have found is that now that I have been taking this supplement daily for 3 months I have had a reduction in menopausal symptoms (for me mostly vaginal dryness and intestinal distress with gas), and even though I haven't had a period in 6 weeks, I've only had four very mild hot flashes in the last 7 days. The jury is still out on whether this is all I need to do for my bones. I asked my doctor for a bone density scan to establish a baseline for me and will ask for another in a couple of years to make sure I'm on the right track, but I'm optimistic.
