Sensoji Temple (浅草寺) is the oldest temple in Tokyo, located in Taito District, Tokyo.
The statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva is enshrined here, and the atmosphere is solemn and calm. The majestic gate, the five-storied pagoda, and the various stalls on Nakamashi Avenue are the existing "Edo-style" public entertainment places in Japan. All of them have made Sensoji Temple a tourist attraction in Japan.
