Miami 🌴 Cherish only the ocean and the sunset
💙 "The sunset is particularly gentle, and everything on earth is romantic" 💙
I love the sky and the sea!
Miami Beach, where the ebb and flow of the tide create a bustling scene, a long stretch of coastline, and the further north, the more people on the beach. I recommend two points, north and south. On the beach, everyone is enjoying the sun and freedom. I suggest bringing a portable speaker and beer, so you can have a crazy day with friends.
🌴 Have brunch at The Local House and take a walk by the beach (north). Buy a cup of milk tea at Miu's Tea, sit by the beach for an afternoon. Watching the sea itself is a romantic thing.
🌴 Cape Florida Lighthouse - Miami's most beautiful sunset.
Most of Miami's beaches face east, but I was lucky enough to see the sunset at Key Biscayne, a small island that extends out. It is a 30-minute drive from downtown Miami, located in Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park, $8 per car. Drive all the way in from the entrance, to the innermost parking lot, and you'll be facing the ocean as soon as you get out of the car. I suggest checking the sunset time for the day before you go, arrive 1-2 hours before sunset, take a walk along the beach, take photos at the lighthouse, and then sit quietly by the beach and wait for the sunset.
🧡 The sunset is gentle, and the sea is romantic 🧡
Ponce De Leon Fishing Pier - a forgotten corner.
If you're not just here to check-in at the Southernmost Point of the Continental USA, I recommend coming to this little pier, where the sea breeze brushes by your ears gently, calling you to stay and watch the sunset glow. The sunlight during sunset is very gentle, and time seems to shed its defenses, no longer rushing, just like our lives have slowed down. Even after sunset, don't rush to leave, as the blue hour will bring you surprises. This place is also great for photography, with backlighting to capture a fairy-like scene, and backlighting to capture silhouettes.
If you have time, go for a walk by the beach. Find a place to sit down and let the waves wash away your worries, let the sunset heal your wounds.
