🌟 Seeking success? Visit Jing Mountain Temple! Burning incense is also a way of making progress. Jing Mountain Temple, founded during the Tang Tianbao period, is a millennium-old ancient temple located in the mountain forest at an altitude of 800 meters in Yuhang District, Hangzhou, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. 🚗Transportation
The ancient temple is located in the suburbs. Leave early and arrive at the "Jing Mountain Tourist Reception Center" before 9 am if possible.
1⃣ Take a taxi or drive to the reception center.
2⃣ This is the starting point. Take the free shuttle bus to Jing Mountain Temple, which is about 20 minutes away along the winding mountain road (7 km). For those who easily get motion sickness, it is recommended to bring car sickness medication and plastic bags in advance.
⚠️ PS: For those who are physically fit, hike the Jing Mountain ancient path to the temple, which takes about 40 minutes.
✨ Praying & Offering
To pray for good academic performance, pay respects to Wenshu, while for career success, pay respects to Puxian. Both bodhisattvas are located on the first floor of the Lingxiao Hall on either side of the main hall. Behind the main hall, there is a "place for offerings." Popular items include the 18-seed bracelet and high-quality bracelet called "Changshu Seven Wisdom," which can help with academic performance and career success. Avoid crowds by going to the counter on the right side after entering the temple.
😋 Coffee & Vegetarian Food
At the place for offering, order a cup of "Ci cup" coffee featuring Jing Mountain Temple’s logo. Afterward, continue climbing and browsing.
Around 10:30 a.m., return to the "place for offering" next door and try the popular Snow Vegetable and Bamboo Shoot with Multigrain Noodles, a tasty surprise at 22 yuan per person, as well as the cold dish combo and bean paste buns.
After finishing the meal, continue browsing. At noon, head back to the shuttle bus to avoid the peak time for descending the mountain.
💰 Admission
30 yuan per ticket, which also comes with three incense sticks.
📍Citizen cardholders in Yuhang District and Hangzhou temple cardholders get in for free.
Good luck and may the weather be in your favor!
