✨The recent ski trip was not far away, just at Big Bear Lake. Booked an A-Frame cabin on Airbnb, super satisfied! The warm and quiet atmosphere is absolutely amazing. Watching the snow here during the day, having hot pot with friends at night, this is exactly what an ideal forest cabin looks like.
✨By the time we arrived at Big Bear Lake, it was already late at night, and the winding mountain road was a bit nerve-wracking. When we arrived at the cabin, it was silent, with the whole town immersed in the dim yellow light of the street lamps. At this time, a few small lights appeared, winding along the snowy path, leading to the cabin hiding behind a few pine trees in the distance. The lights inside the cabin were already thoughtfully turned on to welcome us, and the light shining through the large floor-to-ceiling windows illuminated the snow-covered ground. Although it was unfamiliar, it was hard not to yearn for this scene.
✨The cabin is called Triangle in the Trees, located in Fawnskin on the other side of the lake. You should be able to find it by searching on Airbnb.
✨It has a large floor-to-ceiling window and two terraces, providing excellent natural light. The air conditioning and fireplace are great, and there are plenty of board games.
✨For those who have never made a fire, there are a few tips we learned. Place small pieces of wood on top and larger pieces of pine wood underneath, leaving some space between the pieces of wood. This way, the large pieces of pine wood will easily ignite, and the fire will be strong. The road up to Big Bear Lake has some scenic spots, where you can see city lights at night and snow-capped mountains during the day. Don't miss them.
✨In Southern California, known for its sunny beaches, it's lucky to have high mountain areas like Big Bear Lake. You don't have to go too far to experience the refreshing pleasure of winter. With the snow sparkling under the sunshine, tall and straight pine trees, and the lake covered in tiny ice crystals, winter truly offers irresistible joy.
