📌The Getty Art Museum was my first stop after arriving in Los Angeles, just a short distance from my residence, less than a 20-minute drive away.
🎈On the way, I noticed that there seemed to be many well-designed houses on the hill. My thoughts were later confirmed when I entered the art gallery – those houses were part of the Getty Museum, originally a private estate on the hill.
⭐️The exhibition halls are divided into different themes, including gods, Dionysus and theaters, stories of the Trojan War, and other themes. This approach allows visitors to appreciate the artworks while understanding the ancient social context in which they were created, helping to deepen their understanding of the ancient world.
🎊After viewing the exhibits in the museum, browsing the souvenir shop gives an even more resonant sense of "adventure." In addition to art books, the shop offers a variety of exquisite cultural and creative products, such as mugs, magnets, notebooks, tote bags, and I buy a desktop calendar from the Getty Center souvenir shop every year. With each different special exhibition, the shop also launches limited-time, limited-edition cultural and creative products.

🧡 For visitors who have been to the Getty Center multiple times, consider visiting both museums in one day. Otherwise, both museums are worth spending a whole day appreciating.
