Taiwan FamilyMart Food Exploration✨, Recommendations + Cautions💥
🍨During my recent trip to Taiwan, when I wanted a quick meal in the evening, I randomly picked a few items from the FamilyMart convenience store downstairs to try out. Now, I want to share my personal experience with you all and let you know which ones are worth trying and which ones to be cautious about.
🍰First and foremost, I highly recommend trying the Double Cheese Cheese Balls. Despite their ordinary appearance, the taste is really amazing. It features two types of cheese, offering a rich and layered texture. You must give the cheese brain + taro brain a try, and once you take a bite, you'll fall in love! You won't be able to stop after just one.
🍮Next, the Uni-Pudding is also a dessert that I personally enjoy a lot. It can be considered a nostalgic Taiwanese snack. The pudding has a smooth texture and a moderate level of sweetness, not greasy at all. Personally, I think the caramel at the bottom is the finishing touch.
🥓The Four Cheese Smoked Ham Baked Noodles have a good taste and a great stringy texture when heated. However, it may not be suitable for everyone. The combination of smoked ham and cheese is indeed delicious, but for friends who are not fond of smoked food, this baked noodle dish may not be the best choice. I suggest making sure you have no aversion to smoked food before trying it.
🥛Guangming Fresh Milk and Malt Milk are also decent choices. Eating these is purely for convenience and entertainment. Since childhood, I have had a preference for food with such packaging, and I still enjoy it as an adult. The portion size is just right, and you can adjust the softness or hardness of the cereal according to your personal preference. However, I find the malt flavor slightly on the sweeter side, so if you don't like it too sweet, you can go for the original flavor.
Lastly, a small reminder about Tea Eggs🥚. Although Tea Eggs are a classic delicacy at FamilyMart, the richness of taste may vary depending on the store and the duration of simmering. Therefore, it may require some luck to find a delicious Tea Egg.
