Experience the Splendid Lunar New Year Celebration at the Los Angeles Chinese Business Association ✨
✨Venture into the realm of extravagant Lunar New Year shopping at the Los Angeles Chinese Business Expo! It's hard to believe that, despite having lived in LA for years, I had never before attended this vibrant event. But this time, I joined in the festivities and successfully shopped till I dropped, from dawn till dusk...
✨Gone are the stereotypes that this exhibition is exclusively for the elderly. To my surprise, it was trendy and hip, especially the "New Trendy Chinese Food Exhibition" in Hall 5. The products on display were simply in sync with those in China, bringing a taste of the modern Chinese lifestyle up close and personal.
✨First and foremost, the divine "Vitality Forest" dazzled with its range of zero-sugar sparkling water and various fruit teas. The exhibition hall offered almost every flavor imaginable, and the prices were unbelievably attractive. I must highlight the white strawberry coconut sparkling water by Amway, which I became addicted to after just one sip. Here, they were selling two packs for a mere $15, an absolute steal!
✨"Weilong" was also a delightful trip down memory lane. A childhood without spicy sticks is incomplete, and as someone who had a complete childhood, I couldn't resist grabbing a bunch of discounted gluten, spicy sticks, konjac snacks, and "Qinzui" pastries, unable to resist their irresistible charm.
✨"Shenghe Tang" served up a variety of flavors of herbal jelly, while "Ying Jinqian" delighted with their fermented black bean fish. "Daoxiangcun" presented their green bean popsicle and beef tongue pastry, and "Mengniu" offered their tangy yogurt. These booths were my main battlefield, along with the snail noodles, instant pickled fish, "Beibingyang" soda, and "Mimi" shrimp sticks, all synchronized with the culinary trends back home. All thanks to the American Huayuan Food Group, who made it possible to indulge in the rich Lunar New Year atmosphere even in a foreign land. Follow and message them for the trendy food exhibition to redeem a $3 voucher! Unbeknownst to me, I ended up buying so much, finally understanding why so many people were walking in with suitcases (naively, I thought they were tourists from out of town).
✨Apart from the shopping frenzy, there were also captivating performances and exciting giveaways at the other pavilions. Outdoors, a street of snacks awaited, including Xinjiang barbecue skewers and sizzling iron plate squid. And let's not forget about my personal favorite, the Happiness Hall, where I could shop, eat, and drink to my heart's content while preparing for the Lunar New Year. Blissful indeed! Tomorrow is the last day, so don't miss out, my friends!
