Don Quijote is the top choice for shopping during your trip to Hawaii‼️
This is my first time visiting Don Quijote in Hawaii, and it feels like a grand adventure, just like Liu Laoliu entering the Grand View Garden. This chain supermarket, with over 150 stores in Japan, only has four locations in Hawaii. Unfortunately, there are none near my hometown, which is a shame. The one I visited is even bigger than the popular 99 Ranch Market.
✅ Open 24 hours a day, making it convenient for tourists to explore during the day and shop at night.
✅ Popular Hawaiian souvenirs are cheaper here compared to stores near tourist attractions. They have a wide selection of Hawaiian fruits, chocolates, and coffees.
✅ You can buy fresh sushi and Asian stir-fried dishes from the deli department to enjoy at your hotel. It's cheap and delicious.
✅ The snack section offers a variety of Japanese snacks that you won't find in mainland America. It's a feast for the eyes.
✅ They also have many Japanese drugstore cosmetics and personal hygiene products. Next time I visit Hawaii, I can pack lighter, save on baggage fees, and buy some souvenirs.
I hope to have a chance to visit the original Don Quijote in Japan in the future!
