The Chinese New Year is always the most important holiday in the hearts of us overseas wanderers, without a doubt!
When I was young, during the Spring Festival every year, I used to go to the temple fair with my family to eat snacks and buy new year goods, which were essential activities. Therefore, if we can't go back to China for the Spring Festival, the Chinese Business Association event is indispensable for us.
Upon entering, the first things we must have are lamb skewers, grilled squid, and fried pancakes! We also had authentic stinky tofu and fried milk, as well as the surprising candied hawthorns at the end! After eating, it's time to stroll and shop!
Starting from last year, we discovered a fashionable Chinese snack pavilion in Hall 5, where we would directly fill a cart with New Year goods! We also found lots of Japanese and Korean snacks and facial masks, which made our eyes spin. This year, we went together with our mothers and brought back a lot of health products.
It's worth mentioning that Chinese traditional medicine and moxibustion have helped us treat many minor ailments without having to see a doctor!
Moxa navel patches and heat patches are always in stock, and we found them for only $10/box this time, while in other places they are $15-$25, so we saved a lot!
I don't know if anyone loves Japanese probiotic biscuits as much as I do. They cost $3 for a small box outside, but only $1/bag at the exhibition, which is such a great value!
💰 Tickets this year: $20/adult
Parking: $17/car
📍 2705 Fairplex Dr, Pomona, CA 91750
Hurry up, January 14-15 is approaching! I guarantee you won't be disappointed!
