Big Sky Skiing Experience‼️ 😍
Big Sky is rumoured to be the largest, most sensuous snow playground in all of America. And what a tease – use Snoqualmie Pass from Seattle and you'll be spoiled with not one, not two, but three tantalizing days of skiing, absolutely free! 😄
Our flirtation with Big Sky began on the first weekend of March. We sensuously set our plan in motion three months in advance and seductively snatched an Air BnB for $360 a night, complete with room for four lucky snow nymphs.
But beware, darlings! Yelp reviews in this area can be as deceitful as a lover's promise ‼️. Three nights of culinary heartbreak awaited us, leaving us clinging to the more reliable and intoxicating embrace of fried chicken, fries, and burgers.
The ski resort is, indeed, enormously luscious. Our fling with the Swift Current cable car left us weak at the knees, and it's the one we queued the longest for, too. In icy conditions, this sweetheart proved to be the least icy spot and offered a delightful playground for snow enthusiasts of all skill levels. I even joined forces with some daring companions to weave our way through young forests, grinning and giggling with glee!
Let's gossip about the snow situation 😄: Our trip was missing the sweet caress of fresh snow, so we made do with sunlight while we could. However, we can only fathom the sheer ecstasy of Big Sky transforming into a heavenly paradise of snowy waltzes once the snowflakes begin their seductive descent. A diverse range of terrains and wide snow trails would be our playground. The mountain peaks, however, played coy, as the snow coverage was rather scanty, leaving us vulnerable to flirts with sharp rocks when we least expected it – a bit of a scary liaison, if you will. Alas, the tram to the highest peak remained closed during our stay, depriving us of the most stunning view and the legendary Triple Black Trail.
🌟Our experience:
With the elusive tram remaining a mystery, we managed to conquer three peaks in two delectable days. But let's be honest, only the largest mountain was most delightful to glide and slide. Despite seeing a flurry of activity at cable car lines, these mountains felt like our private sanctuary, giving us uninhibited freedom. I even saucily broke my speed record, hitting 37mph with a cheeky grin. 😉 On powder days, the Six-Shooter on the far right promises an alluring adventure not to be missed! Though, our overconfidence did lead us to the Challenger Lift, only to find the black runs out of reach. We humbled ourselves and scraped our way down the double black diamond run together….. Oh, the excitement!
We eagerly await our next rendezvous with Big Sky when the snow dances again!
