The Huntington Suzhou Garden in LA truly gives one the feeling of being transported back to China, with all of its landscapes designed to mimic those found in traditional Suzhou Gardens. Even though it may be located far away from that country, visiting this place and taking a few photos can certainly help ease any homesickness one may feel.
I visited this location during the peak of summer, and it proved to be an excellent vacation spot where one could spend an entire day. The beautiful lotus flowers in the pond are a must-see during the summer season. Apart from the park, the botanical garden here is also an exceptional place boasting numerous rare plants that resemble a tropical rainforest.
