As a tourist, you must visit the iconic 101 landmark‼️
✨Wait for a clear day to visit the 101 observation deck for the best view! The night view presents a different scenery, and it's even brighter during the Taipei Lantern Festival. From afar, you can also see the main lights flashing at the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, but it's even better to visit it directly.
🔥How to get to 101❓
First, you can take a taxi or take the MRT directly to the 101/World Trade Center station.
Follow the signs at the MRT station to get to 101 and take the elevator to the 5⃣th floor to purchase tickets.
💰Tickets cost 600 New Taiwan dollars, which is about 140 CNY. Follow the staff's instructions to reach the 89F directly. The elevator is very fast! It only takes 35 seconds to arrive~
⚠️During the ride, your ears might feel a bit uncomfortable, but swallowing will help.
There are many photo spots upstairs, so strike a pose. As long as you're not embarrassed, those taking photos through the glass won't be either.
✨You can also take the stairs to the 91F outdoor viewing platform!
However, due to the protective railing, there's a limited range for photo angles. Just reach out and take a picture – don't worry about your phone falling because there's a protective ledge below. Still, it's better to hold it steadily. The observation deck closes at 9 PM.
😋So you can grab a bite to eat nearby in the Xinyi District before heading up – there are also adorable Taiwan-themed gashapon (capsule toys) and gift shops selling cute souvenirs upstairs. It's a great experience!
