Dali Chongsheng Temple Three Pagodas."Peace, Joy, and Smooth Sailing!"
Located 1.5 kilometers northwest of Dali Ancient City, the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple face Yingle Peak of Cangshan Mountain to the west and Erhai Lake to the east. It is the only national 5A-level tourist attraction in Dali and is known for its thriving incense.
Consisting of one large and two small pagodas, the main pagoda is called Qianxun Pagoda and was built during the reign of Quanfengyou in the Southern Zhao period. The outer contours of the two small pagodas are conical, representing the typical architectural style of the Song Dynasty. The three pagodas stand tall and majestic, with Qianxun Pagoda in the center and the two smaller pagodas guarding the mountain to the north and south. They possess significant historical, cultural, and architectural value. Therefore, it is recommended for visitors to come and explore Chongsheng Temple when visiting Dali, and they can also take the opportunity to pray for the well-being of their family and loved ones.
