🎄My favorite Christmas activity is visiting the enchanting light displays. Many residents here adorn their homes, so this time I decided to see for myself the rumored collection of over 5000 teddy bears at the house of an elderly lady.
🎄This magical place is located on Balboa Island in Newport Beach, and it was my first time visiting this quaint little island. It's mostly filled with luxurious mansions, some worth millions of dollars, and the residents near the seaside even have their own private docks with small boats. It truly feels like an idyllic retirement destination.
🎄The only way to reach this island is through a single bridge, and upon crossing it, you are greeted by charming little shops and a popular queue at the banana ice cream parlor. I arrived on a Monday evening after 8 pm, so most shops were closed, but the restaurants were still open. There weren't many people around, but they all gathered at the Bear House. With the provided address, I navigated my way through the residential area, and the bear display was just a short stroll away. The bears were facing the seaside, nestled in a corner. So, while admiring the Christmas lights, one can also enjoy the illuminated boats sailing on the ocean.
