Van Gogh immersive exhibition in Los Angeles to do a blue dream under the starry night π
βThe Immersive Van Gogh exhibit in LA is said to be larger, with multiple rooms. However, today's exhibit of Van Gogh's works is located at the Anaheim Convention Center in Orange County. The exhibit is open from 10am to 10pm Sunday through Thursday and from 10am to 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
βIt takes approximately an hour to tour the exhibit, and the last entry time is one hour before closing. The address is 800 West Katella Avenue, and there is an indoor parking lot available for $20 (credit cards only). Tickets can be purchased on the official website for Beyond Van Gogh Orange County, with free admission for children under five and regular tickets priced at $36.99.
βFor $53.99, visitors can arrive two hours early or late, and for $93.99, they can have priority entry and receive a Van Gogh-themed bag. In my personal opinion, the $36.99 ticket is sufficient as each session only allows around 50 people, and there is no need to wait in line.
βThe exhibit has two large rooms with a serene atmosphere, and it uses projection technology that is gentle on the eyes. I was concerned about whether young children could attend, so I consulted two PhDs from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, one of whom is an old friend of mine and specializes in child psychology. She assured me that projections are safe as long as they are not too bright or flashing frequently.
βThe projections are soft, slow-moving, and accompanied by symphonic music, which has a calming effect on children, making them especially well-behaved.
