The best vacation destination near New York? Look no further than Camelback in Pennsylvania! With just a two-hour drive 🚗, it's not only a great place for skiing, but also home to a large indoor water park where you can enjoy two days of water park fun for the price of one night's stay! We booked our trip three months in advance and it was only a little over three hundred dollars for a Saturday, a great deal!
✅Aquatopia Indoor Water Park
This is a large nighttime amusement park with a wide range of facilities and a long opening time that lasts until 9pm!
They have 114 water slides, although only 10 were open when we visited. There are two super high free fall slides, one thrilling water roller coaster, three single slides, one headfirst slide, and two tube slides. Two of the slides have changing lights, which create an amazing visual effect. They also have a big loudspeaker and multiple weightless experiences, which are incredibly exciting!
The best part is that, except for the loudspeaker 📣, all the attractions can be enjoyed by one person at a time! So, for parents who are bringing kids, you can take turns enjoying the slides. We managed to ride all the slides twice, it was so much fun!
The wave pool is large, just slightly smaller than the one at the American Dream indoor wave pool. I absolutely loved it! Riding the waves for three hours didn't feel boring at all. The lazy river is quite long and feels like a dark cave, giving you the feeling of being in South America, very interesting!
At the surf section, you can enjoy unlimited surfing and experience the freedom of riding the waves! The warm water pool is connected to the outside, so you can soak inside. In addition to all this, they have large water houses, basketball shooting areas, and obstacle courses. In short, there are many, many attractions to enjoy!
