The undulating mountains of North San Diego County contain some of the world's most spectacular natural color landscapes. Located among them is The Flower Fields at Carlsbad, known as a "contemporary heritage". If you set off from Los Angeles and head to San Diego, the flower fields are halfway on the journey. Starting in early March, for ten weeks every day, 50 acres of flowers bloom in front of your eyes.
