Exotic Charm of Balboa Park, San Diego
Interplay of light and shimmering water, a deep mystical sanctuary behind the Spanish-style gate: When I visited, there was an old man playing the guitar by the lake. The landscape combined with the music felt truly, truly magical.
You don't need to know the specific locations of the attractions, the park is not big, and you can discover all the gems in it by slowly wandering!
💰: There is no entrance fee.
✅ You can put on some bright red lipstick, wear sunglasses and sunshade if you need.
‼️Be sure to stay away if you see anyone, particularly anybody of African American descent, holding something like a CD at the entrance or any other place in the park! We were stuck there because we had to buy a CD and it cost several dollars.
