💥Garden Explorer
🌷️If you wish to take part in the garden tour, the museum provides four daily sessions at 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, and 14:00, each lasting 45 minutes. You can sign up 15 minutes before the tour at the information desk. The meeting place is at the Museum Entrance Hall door.
🌼The Central Garden has quite become another highlight of the Getty Center apart from the rich collections; or we can say the garden itself is a proud piece of art.
🌱The museum has carefully maintained more than 500 types of landscape plants where the selection, pruning, display and color matching are all done with meticulous care. Walking along the path adorned with unique stones and green plants, there are occasional streams flowing through the rugged stone road into the pool, bird songs, butterfly dances, fragrances, where your visual, auditory and olfactory senses can all enjoy.
🌻Inside the central pool is a well-known Rhododendron bush labyrinth, where it's common to see children competing on the edge of the pool to see who can throw a penny and land it in the water, without it getting stuck in the bushes.
🌼After completing the garden trail, I would suggest going to a high point (above the grass or walking to the Garden Terrace Cafe) and looking back at the garden, where you can see a more complete view. If you don't rush to leave at night, come back to the garden and take a walk. Under the light, there is an indescribable quiet feeling.
