😁A few weeks ago, I was taking photos in Banqiao and was super hungry after the shoot. Luckily, THAITOWN Vacheng was right next door, so we decided to have a meal there after a long time. The place was pretty crowded on the holiday, although the dishes were served swiftly and we didn't have to wait too long.
We were a group of three and we ordered four dishes, all of which we finished!
✅Fried Rice with Fresh Shrimp
This dish was a wonderful surprise and very suited to my taste~ The dish appears light, but the flavor is rich. The fried onions blended well with the distinct grains of fried rice creating a salty and fragrant delicacy. The shrimp was alright, quite ordinary in terms of flavor.
✅Green Curry Seafood
The dish included shrimp, squid, clams, and green beans. Since the green curry had coconut milk, it wasn't too spicy, and the taste was slightly salty, which is excellent when eaten with rice.
✅Shrimp Paste Water Spinach
A delicious dish of water spinach—the taste was also slightly salty.
Steamed Fish with Lemon
It was served comparatively late. The waitress mentioned that letting the sauce simmer would make it more flavorful, and it did taste great. The fish had a strong flavor, but the tender meat was delicious.
✅MoMo ChaCha
When you download the app and become a member, you receive a free bowl of it. That day was chilly, so we opted for the hot version—unexpectedly, it was quite good too! It had a lot of ingredients and was not too sweet, definitely deserving of its popularity as one of THAITOWN's desserts.
😁Visiting THAITOWN once in a while is quite nice. Although my husband thought it was pretty average and nothing extraordinary, in my opinion, the dishes were delicious and there were various choices available. As the end of the year approaches, it is perfect for all kinds of gatherings. If you don't want to dine-in, they offer takeaway and even a New Year's meal combination. Celebrating the New Year with Thai-style dishes at home seems pretty cool!
