Our Philosophy
The philosophy of our school comes from the scientific observations and writings of Dr.Maria Montessori. Dr. Montessori recognized that all children possess certain learning tools; eagerness, curiosity and a tendency to learn by doing. Montessori spoke of the "absorbent mind" that endows the child with a great capacity for disciplined activity and a voracious appetite for learning. Since this force is a fundamental characteristic within the child, he or she must have the freedom to choose tasks that progress at his/her own pace. The result is independent, self-reliant children who are creative and joyful in experiencing life's intellectual and emotional challenges. Dr. Montessori's philosophy is verified by modern research and practice.
Goal & Services
Montessori education is based on the principle, that a child learns best when the social environment supports their unique development. We offer childcare services to preschool, kindergarten and elementary aged children in mixed age groups. For every age level, the classroom is a carefully prepared environment to provide enriching opportunities and learning tools with a loving and attentive team of Montessori teachers. Our teachers follow a curriculum that encourages all round development at the child's own pace. The core subjects include Practical Life, Sensorial, Mathematics, Language Arts, Science, Geography, Music and Art. Our preschool children work with didactic materials to learn the concepts. We offer a variety of activities, crafts, painting, music, and manipulates independent learners.
The Montessori Method
Developed by Maria Montessori, the Montessori method of education is tried and tested with more than a century of proven success with children at the early stages of life. Montessori schools feature a balanced curriculum that includes academics, wellness, self-awareness, conflict resolution, citizenship, and physical education. To assist in academic achievement, the method emphasizes problem solving, critical thinking, and creative expression. Our programs help children inspire one another to become powerful learners. This is achieved by developing responsibility and independence, working cooperatively, accepting challenges, appreciating diversity, practicing effective communication, encouraging effective leadership, becoming risk takers, and building awareness.
Our Programs
Enrollment is open to all children regardless of race, religion or national origin. We do not discriminate against any disability. We offer a warm and loving environment for children and their parents at our Montessori Schools. We believe in accepting all children who are willing to learn and whose parents are aligned with the school philosophy and policies.
