2023 Temple Blessings at Hsi Lai Temple in Los Angeles 🙏
Today is not only New Year's Eve in the United States, but also the first day of the Chinese lunar month. As many Asian Americans leave the old year and welcome the new one, they often visit temples to burn incense and pray for blessings for their families. Today, we also visited the busy Hsi Lai Temple in Los Angeles to offer incense and prayers. We paid respects to Bodhisattvas, Buddha, and the God of Wealth, asking for blessings and hoping for harmonious weather and a prosperous, peaceful, and auspicious new year for our families.
We arrived at nine in the morning when there were not many people and plenty of parking spaces available. I parked at a spot nearest to the temple's main entrance. For those who want to visit Hsi Lai Temple for blessings, make sure to come early!
